I hate milk, and its really showing up because my bones are always cracking. It drives me crazy but I really want to do something about it before it gets to where it causes severe pain/arthritis. I've taken vitamins but I was just wondering if anyone else had this kind of problem and had quick success with something other than what you'd expect results from such as milk and vitamins.

My daughter has galactosemia and has to take calcium suppliments for her deteriating bones. She is 6 and takes 1000mg a day. This has actually stopped the process of her bones getting weaker and they have been getting stronger according to the bone scans every six months. Hope this helps.

Take a calcium supplement, like TUMS, everyday. You would need to take two TUMS a day to get the recommended amount.
You can get Orange juice with Calcium in it.

Calcium pills but no matter how bad you hate milk just drink it. Obviously it wont kill u everyone drinks milk and nothing happens to them..lol.

honestly, I've never drank milk a day in my life and I've never broken a bone or anything. while people who drink milk every day have very "delicate" bones.
If you are truly having trouble with your bones cracking too often, you should talk to your Doctor about taking a prescription for stronger bones. The prescription works much better than over the counter calcium. Stay away from caffeine, it can block calcium absorption.
You can get orange juice with calcium in it. its good.
