I play ice hockey, and have an important game in about two weeks. The doc says I'm crazy to think I can play even in a month-- is there any further risk of injury if I do play in the game (in 2 weeks). I'm 17, and the injury happened on Saturday. Please let me know.I have a two broken bones in my wrist, and am now in a cast. It had to be re-angled manually today by a doc.?
You will disrupt the healing process and will probably cause the bone to heal improperly. At best, it will have to be re-angled again. At worst, you'll have a sore, crooked wrist for the rest of your life.
Don't play.
i agree with tess, don't play, wrist is a important part ,i know my father still cant move/ use his hand properly due to his wrist, its a life time ting , if it grow/heal in properly it would have to be operated and it might be that it wont be possible to do that, so don't play, you will have more chances like that but if you injur it more, then not only you would have to live with it everyday like my father,,and you wont be able to play everI have a two broken bones in my wrist, and am now in a cast. honestly probably not cause you already had it manually put back. but it might take another 3 weeks to heal it again and then another 3 months
