I mean you cant believe in the bible and dinosaurs at the same time. The bible says the earth was made thousands of years ago, and dino bones are millions of years old. While the word "dinosaur" is a relatively new word, there seems to be evidence in many places around the world that men and these creatures have co-existed. In the Bible, when God is responding to Job, in Job 40 and 41, we see two creatures described, the 'behemoth' and the 'leviathan.' Both are described as extremely large animals and seem reminiscent of descriptions of a dinosaur and a giant sea creature. Although Bible notes in many modern translations suggest these animals might be a hippo, a crocodile, an elephant, or other known animals, the Biblical descriptions defy those identifications.

Jack one thing you need to remember is that there is New earth creationists and old earth creationists. The doctrinal split is due to interpretation of the evidence.

And there is no Guarantee there was not Some Dinosaurs left thousands of years ago, as they are actually mentioned in the Bible, in the book of Job.( which one can research)

As for carbon dating, I've heard it can be seriously flawed so I decided to find out.

Recently a friend of mine went diving in New Zealand for Scallops. He caught some fresh and had the shells carbon dated at Auckland University, some came out as one million years old .......GO FIGURE Gee it's amazing what you can learn if you don't just take blindly some ones word for something.

The funny thing is how scientists can say something is millions or even hundreds of millions years old.. but we were never there to witness it. So we come up with our flawed speculative methods of dating which time and time again have been proved to be inaccurate.

I'm not saying that the earth is not 3.5 billion years old, all i'm saying is that hypothetically speaking if I were a billion years old and watched the changing earth till this day, I may or may not be clapping my hands with glee at the accuracy of scientific judgement.

the old testament doesn't have to be all true. this was thousands of years ago and when they tried to be descriptive with what happened they may have got it wrong. like time wise, maybe since the earth was younger people thought thousands of years was long when they knew God made the world long ago. so everything doesn't have to be word by word in the bible so dinosaurs could easily exist. God could of waited a few thousand years before man came.
look at it this way tho. first off there are references to dinosaurs in the bible. it says on the fifth day of creation god created great sea monsters useing the hebrew word tanni虃yn which means dragon serpent and sea monster. second the bible was made thousands of years ago. im sure if god wanted to win in the popularity vote he wouldnt be going around telling people there are giant bones deep in the ground that you will never reach but trust me they are there. its just useless information. why would they need to mention dinosaurs at all besides like i said before during creation. there are also people who belive that the 6 days of creation are metaphors. like i said before people back thousands of years ago would not understand what they are talking about. yet with the science we have today we can see the metaphors. considering like i said before the sea monsters where made on the 5th day he did not creat man till the 6th day.

It is interesting that some of the recent dino finds are returning what some scientists say may be DNA with all the potential indicated.
You are over categorizing all Christians into one category.



While there are those who do make strong negative claims about scientific items, please do not lump us all together.

3. Have you ever sensed a Dinosaur in any way shape or form using any of your natural senses? I haven't

4. (And this one is the kicker) Have you ever actually seen a real Dinosaur bone?

Why no I haven't seeing as fossils are the ROCK remains of sediment brought into a cavity in the earth after whatever had been occupying the space has gone away.



OK so using empirical evidence, if you have never seen, smelled or in any way sensed a Dinosaur using any of your senses in any way and even what we ASSUME to be the remains of their bones is just ROCK left behind by sediment. How in the world can you possibly say with all certainty that Dinosaurs existed.



Now of course I believe that the dinosaurs existed but my point is that you can shape things anyway you want if your willing to twist the data in that direction.



Just because a person is religious do not assume them to agree with every outlandish statement made but some that may be associated with that group.

lol, the bible wasn't written by modern day scientists, the people from the time couldn't geologically prove the age of the earth, so they had to make up a number to make it all sound good.



As long as Jesus' message is the same message of love and peace, why is everyone so hung up on the 'material' teachings of the bible and not the underlying 'ideas'? A lot of Christians seem to be blindsided by the fact that these stories were made to communicate a moral lesson... Just because the concrete 'facts' don't line up does NOT make that the moral lessons false! People should stop trying to prove the concrete ideas of a story as if it actually existed, cause that's not what Jesus' message was. It was just to be nice and love and respect each other....

Techniques such as radioactive dating and sediment analysis, conclusively prove that dinosaur fossils are at least 65 million to 230 million years old. These same studies prove that the earth itself coalesced from debris orbiting the sun about four billion years ago.

They are real, just not billions of years old. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible, they were just not called dinosaurs until the 1800s. Read Job 40 and 41 for descriptions of dinosaurs. Also, research the Ica stones to find drawings of dinosaurs and man living together.
