My dad thinks Dr. Brennan is a cold-hearted b*tch and that she's crazy.Do you think Dr. Temperance Brennan from Bones has a personality disorder?
I don't think so. She has had a rough childhood and has become emotionally distant from people which explains the lack of social understandings. She is very intelligent and seems this is the only way she really knows how to express herself. She doesn't have very strong beliefs in things that she can't see or touch. Booth is exposing her more to his 'world' and therefore developing her social skills further. Brennan doesn't have a personality disorder, she just has difficulty expressing her emotions and understanding today's 'slang' conversations because she never really had a family around to express it with.
She seems like she has Asperger's to me. It's an autism spectrum disorder, not a personality disorder, but if you look it up, she really fits the description. And as far as your dad's opinion goes, I really think she's only like that because she just doesn't know any better. She tries to be nice, it's just not what she knows best.Do you think Dr. Temperance Brennan from Bones has a personality disorder?
I really don't care for that show, so I think everyone on it has a personality disorder.
