I've always wondered what it feels like to break a bone. And i really want to do so ... Am i crazy or just too curious for my own good?. :/ xIs it wrong to want to purposely break a bone?
Am i crazy or just too curious for my own good? Probably a bit of both Hari!
I broke my left leg in 3 places [motor-cycle accident] many years ago. I didn't feel anything at all as I watched it bend at a right angle [half way between ankle and knee] as i tried to get up. It was only when I saw it bend where it shouldn't that I realised it was broken. I found out by vision not feel.
It was set and put in plaster from ankle to groin and stayed in plaster for 3 months. Biggest problem was not being able to wash inside the plaster, especially as it was start of summer and quite hot. So I used to pour talcum powder down the top of the plaster. Then there would be explosive whooshes of powder bursting from the toe for an hour or so after as I walked about. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt at all but was very inconvenient as I had to sleep on my back all the time, and um er we had to be a little inventive with love-making positions. It may have been during this period that the teeth marks in our bedhead started to appear. lol
Then when the plaster came off and I put weight on it for the first time then IT HURT! A month of physio followed and all eventually came good.
So to answer you question as to what it feels like..... in my case the break area felt numb and with no pain for 3 months, then after plaster came off I'd say 80/100 pain diminishing to 20/100 after a month.
My very sincere advice is Don't do it - they don't always heal straight and well and who knows it may happen naturally one day and then you can "enjoy" the experience. I'd wait until then if I were you Hari.

Yes, it is wrong - having a perfect skeleton is something a lot others haven't been gifted to own.
And then you come to spoil your own? Once your break it, you may mock it, but wont be back as normal. Yes, you're officially crazy and for your own good, yes don't do it.
I had 2 broken arms %26amp; wrists 13 years ago, and my wrists still hurt when I use the keyboard a lot.Is it wrong to want to purposely break a bone?
You really should not try to do it! When I broke my arm (on accident!) It did not feel good! I had to have 3 casts, and a pin put into my arm, and my friends would always ask what happened. My arm was in deep pain for a week after, and I was only 5 or 6, so I cried buckets. Plus the cost for treatments that you or your family will pay? Don't do it!
It's wrong, yes. Crazy no, unless you actually do it. Too curious, yes.
From personal experience I can tell you it hurts like a ************ and really recommend you avoid breaking bones, on purpose or even through a careless accident.
in 4th grade i used to really want braces, now that i have them, i wish they were gone. it would probaly be something like that with you breaking a bone, but more painful im sure. your not crazy for thinking that though.
I understand wanting to know what it feels like, but ive broken a few bones in my day, and i would not advise it.
