My usually very loud, talkative bird slept all day, is this normal?

i have a 1 1/2 year old cockatiel who is usually a very talkative loud bird but recently she's been laying eggs (3) and going through cuttle bone like crazy. But today she slept all day and didn't peep once...



she's eating and drinking regularly.

Are you leaving her with the eggs so she doesn't keep laying to replace them?

The task of replacing every egg you take away might be tiring her out.



The only thing I would work on is that she doesn't keep laying egg after egg to replace the ones you take :)

Sometimes when a bird moults,they can be a bit quiet or,if she has been on an egg laying spree,she could very well be exhausted and a bit depressed.
